This work ask viewers to confront the inequities of water access- our most precious and diminishing resource. 

Systemic marginalization is shown through juxtaposing English text (that unapologetically dominates space) around Spanish (that subtly occupies less). The contrasting textures and gradients of the mountain reflect the elimination of life from drought and mismanagement. Many Spanish-speaking communities bear the brunt of these effects, exacerbated by dam regulations and restricted downstream access. Reserving only the slightest hint of sky for the privileged left-side reinforces the scarcity of the color blue and its association with water and life-sustaining resources.
