A tall oak tree from my backyard, was arranged in a repetitive linear sequence. Using Illustrator, upright trees stretch from left to right on the top row, then reflected below. The alignment is offset between rows and a gradient transitions from yellow-orange-red, subtly disrupting the symmetry while maintaining balance through the unity of the pattern and the 1:1 ratio of the artboard. This approach highlights the independence of each unit while showcasing their cohesion as part of a sequential whole.
